CFIA recalls Mounit el Bait tahina and halva in Ontario, Manitoba and Quebec over undeclared peanut
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has recalled Mounit el Bait brand tahina and several halva products sold in Ontario, Manitoba and Quebec because peanut is not declared on the label. The CFIA posted the food recall warning on Aug. 14, 2026, and lists it as a Class 1 recall.
