Adjustment Committee Approves Variance for Silver Queen Lake Road Property

The Committee of Adjustment for the Town of Cochrane has approved a minor variance application for the property located at 151 Silver Queen Lake Road North. The application, submitted by T. Watt, sought permission to reduce the front yard depth setback, the interior side yard width setback, and the minimum building separation distance. These adjustments will allow for the construction of a detached accessory building and the installation of a shipping container on the property. The specific variances approved are as follows:

  • A front yard depth of 1 meter, reduced from the required 10 meters.
  • An interior side yard width of 1.68 meters, reduced from the required 10 meters.
  • A distance of 0 meters between the shipping container and the pole shed, reduced from the required 3 meters.
