AlertReady test set for Smooth Rock Falls on May 7 at 1:55 p.m.

Smooth Rock Falls residents will receive a routine test message from Ontario’s AlertReady emergency alerting system on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 1:55 p.m. EDT.

The alert is part of a scheduled test of the public warning system and is intended to confirm alerts can be delivered through multiple channels.

The test message will be distributed over television, radio and compatible wireless devices.

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls said the test was rescheduled from May 6 to May 7.
