Auricchio Taleggio cheese recalled in Quebec over possible Listeria contamination

Importations Mini Italia is recalling Auricchio brand Taleggio D.O.P. Cheese (200 g) distributed in Quebec because of possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. The recall date is March 13, 2026.

Listeria can cause serious illness, particularly for some higher-risk people, and the recall notice includes product identifiers intended to help warehouses and others in the supply chain match stock to the affected lot.

The recalled product is Auricchio Taleggio D.O.P. Cheese sold in a 200 g package. The UPC is 8 004603 104099.

The product codes listed in the recall are “L 2532200” and “07/07/2026.”

The CFIA advises people not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

The recall is listed as Class 1. The recall identification number is RA-81768.
