Bike rodeo planned June 24 at Cochrane Firehall

A bike rodeo is scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Cochrane Firehall, 23 Fifth St., according to a notice from the Town of Cochrane.

The event is open to the public and includes activities focused on bike safety for people bringing their bicycles to the firehall.

The town’s notice says activities will include helmet fitting and safety tips, an obstacle course, and a bike-washing station.

Attendees are asked to bring their bike and helmet.

Hot dogs will be sold for $1 each, the notice says.

The notice also states there will be a draw for cycling safety equipment.

Hosts listed in the town’s notice include the Active School Travel committee at École Catholique Nouveau-Regard, the Ontario Provincial Police, Réflexion-Victims Services and Cochrane Firehall staff.
