Black River-Matheson Announces Streetlight Review and Repair Program Across Township

The Township of Black River-Matheson has announced a review and repair initiative for non-functioning or damaged streetlights in all areas of the municipality. According to a public notice dated July 28, the township is asking residents to report any streetlights in need of repair.

The township's program covers areas including Matheson, Ramore, Shullington, and Val Gage, as stated in the notice from Clerk Hong Ji Lei. Residents are invited to provide information about streetlights that are out or damaged, including the location (such as the address, street name, or intersection), a description of the issue, and the date it was first noticed. The township also indicates that providing a name and phone number is optional.

Repair efforts will begin as needed, and the township has stated it will update residents with any developments. Reports and requests can be submitted to Karen Morel by email or phone, as listed in the official township notice.
