Boil Water Advisory Issued for Ramore Residents on Township Water System

Residents in Ramore have been instructed by the Township of Black River–Matheson to boil their drinking water before use following the issuance of a boil water advisory on September 12, 2025.

The advisory applies to all individuals using the municipal drinking water system in Ramore. According to the Township’s public notice, the measure was introduced due to a potential problem with the water system.

The notice states that residents should bring water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, brushing teeth, washing fruits and vegetables, preparing food, bathing, or making baby formula.

The Township has not provided information on when the advisory will be lifted.
