Bulk item pickup continued May 12 in Timmins north of Ross and Jubilee, from Airport Road to Highway 655

Timmins’ Environmental Services Department was continuing bulk item collection as of 4:06 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, in the area north of Ross Avenue and Jubilee Avenue, from Airport Road (including rural areas) east to Highway 655.

According to a city notice posted May 12, collection in that zone was still underway and could take additional time to complete due to volume and operational requirements.

The city asked residents in the affected area to leave bulk items at the curb. Crews will return to collect remaining materials as work progresses, the notice said.

The notice said bulk item collection had already been completed in Schumacher through Gold Centre.

Collection was also completed in areas on and off Goldmine Road, including Carium Road, Delnite, MacDonald Hill and Buffalo Ankerite, according to the city.
