CFIA issues Class 1 recall for Arbutus Foods and Arbutus Farms Kitchen/Jade Fine Foods cheese products
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a Class 1 recall for Arbutus Farms Kitchen/Jade Fine Foods and Arbutus Foods brand products with cheese due to Listeria monocytogenes. The agency lists the distribution as national and says the notice is aimed at hotels, restaurants and institutions.
The CFIA is advising food-service operators to check whether they have any of the affected products and to not use, sell, serve or distribute them.
The recalling firm is Arbutus Foods, according to the CFIA. The recall is dated April 3, 2026, and the agency’s notice was last updated April 9, 2026.
Products listed in the CFIA’s affected-products table include Arbutus Foods Fire Roasted Corn & Feta Dip (5 kg and 15 x 227 g), Arbutus Foods Cavatappi Macaroni and Cheese (2 x 2.5 kg and 7 x 2.5 kg), and Arbutus Farms Kitchen/Jade Fine Foods Creamy Carbonara Pasta Salad (2 x 2.27 kg).
Other products named include Jalapeno Popper Penne, Penne with Sundried Tomato and Parmesan, Pesto Couscous, Creamy Garlic Shell Pasta Salad, Mediterranean Caesar Potato Salad, Loaded Cheddar Potato, Bacon & Onion Filler, and Cauliflower Cakes – Spinach and Cauliflower Cakes – Parmesan.
