CFIA issues notification recalling Golden Sea Sushi EBI frozen cooked shrimp distributed in Quebec
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a notification recalling Golden Sea brand Sushi EBI Frozen Cooked Shrimp because of 3-amino-2-oxazolidinone. The product was distributed in Quebec, and the notice is directed at hotels, restaurants and institutions.
For businesses that may have the product in inventory, the CFIA’s notice says the affected shrimp should not be used, sold, served or distributed.
The recalled product is Golden Sea Sushi EBI Frozen Cooked Shrimp (Size : 4L) sold in a 210 g package. The UPC is 6 28634 59910 5.
The affected codes are 2027 JN 02 and VN499VI029CAN.

The CFIA notice lists a previous recall/alert for TS brand Sushi EBI Frozen Cooked Shrimp for the same issue.
