CFIA posts Class 2 recall notice for select Bianca Murgia, Longo’s Curato and Sapori Coratini cheeses

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency issued a Class 2 recall on Aug. 7, 2026, for certain Bianca Murgia, Longo’s Curato and Sapori Coratini cheese products because of non-pathogenic E. coli contamination, with distribution listed in Ontario and Quebec.

The notice matters for shoppers and anyone serving food at home or in retail settings, because the CFIA says the affected products should not be used, sold, served or distributed.

The CFIA updated the recall notice on Aug. 17, 2026, the same date it says the notice was originally published.

The CFIA lists Importation Mini Italia as the recalling firm. The identification number for the notice is RA-82493.
