CFIA posts recall notice for Elite Sweets 5 kg carrot cake over pieces of wood

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) posted a recall notice on May 8, 2026, for Elite Sweets brand Carrot Cake (5 kg) because the product may contain pieces of wood. The agency listed distribution in Ontario and Alberta, and the recall date as May 7, 2026.
