CFIA posts recall of Recipe 7-inch Pizza Pomo/Mozz over possible plastic pieces; one lot affected

MiMi Foods Products Inc. has recalled Recipe brand 7-inch Pizza Pomo/Mozz, lot No. 07626, because it may contain pieces of plastic, according to a recall notice posted by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The recall date is April 28, 2026, and the CFIA said the public alert was originally published April 30.

The CFIA notice is aimed at hotels, restaurants and institutions, and it identifies one affected lot along with a best-before date to help operators check their stock.

The recalled product is Recipe brand 7" Pizza Pomo/Mozz sold in a 33-count package. The UPC is 10830718006370.

The affected codes listed by the CFIA are Lot No. 07626 with a best-before date of Sept. 13, 2026.

The CFIA says hotels, restaurants and institutions should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

The CFIA lists the recall as Class 3 and identifies the notice as RA-82003. The agency said the product was distributed in Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia.
