CFIA recall notice issued for Izem Energy “Energy by ifri” over labelling issues

A recall notice has been issued for Izem Energy brand “Energy by ifri” because of labelling and packaging issues. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says people and businesses should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

The CFIA lists the distribution as Quebec and identifies the intended audience for the notice as retail, meaning it is directed at businesses such as stores and other sellers.

The recalled product is “Energy by ifri” (Izem Energy brand) sold in a 25-centilitre size. The UPC is 6 130093 063720, and no codes were listed.

The recalling firm is AlmoCan Méditerranéen Inc.
