CFIA recalls 11.34 kg Dan-D Pak and Dan-D Bulk nut products due to Salmonella
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says Dan-D Foods Ltd. is recalling several 11.34 kg Dan-D Pak and Dan-D Bulk nut products due to Salmonella. The agency lists the recall date as Feb. 23, 2026, and says the products were distributed in Alberta and British Columbia.
Large-format food items can be shipped to warehouses and then redistributed to stores, restaurants, and other facilities, which can make it important to check identifiers such as lot numbers and best-before dates. The CFIA notice lists the audience for this recall as “Warehouse.”
The CFIA says people should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products.
