CFIA recalls 9227-8712 Québec Inc. and L'Érabeille 540-ml maple syrup distributed in Ontario and Quebec
Pure maple syrup in 540-ml bottles distributed in Ontario and Quebec under the 9227-8712 Québec Inc. and L'Érabeille brands is being recalled due to container integrity defects and spoilage, according to a recall notice published by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The CFIA says consumers should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products.
The notice identifies the recalled products by brand and UPC, and says all lot codes are included.
For 9227-8712 Québec Inc. brand Pure Maple Syrup (540 ml), the affected UPCs are 6 27843 72614 2 and 6 27713 37937 9. All lot codes are affected.
For L'Érabeille brand Pure Maple Syrup (540 ml), the affected UPC is 8 74348 00204 8. All lot codes are affected.
The CFIA lists the issue as “Food - Microbial contamination - Non harmful (quality or spoilage).”
The recalling firm is 9227-8712 Québec Inc., and the recall is classified as Class 3.
The recall date is June 25, 2026. The CFIA originally published the notice on June 30, 2026, under identification number RA-82260.
