CFIA recalls certain Alfa croissant products due to mould
Alfa-brand croissant products have been recalled in Canada because of mould, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said. The recall is dated Aug. 7, 2026, and distribution was national.
The agency said people should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products. CFIA classified the issue as “Food - Microbial contamination - Non harmful (quality or spoilage).”
CFIA’s notice covers three Alfa products, each sold in a 4 x (6 x 75 g) package size. The affected items are identified by UPC, lot code and best before date:

MFG Distribution Inc. is the recalling firm. CFIA classified the recall as Class 3 and assigned it identification number RA-82478.
