CFIA recalls Charcuterie Perron white ham over possible metal pieces

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has recalled Charcuterie Perron brand white ham because it may contain pieces of metal. The product was distributed in Quebec, and the recall date is Jan. 26, 2026.

The recall may matter to people in Northeast Ontario who have this product at home, including those who purchased groceries in Quebec or received food from there. The CFIA advises people not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

The affected product is Charcuterie Perron white ham sold in a 175 g package with UPC 8 83125 11025 6.

The CFIA lists the following identifiers for recalled packages: Best before 2026/AL/10 and lots 13452 and 32221.

The recalling firm is Charcuterie L. Fortin ltée.

The CFIA categorized the recall as Class 2 and listed the issue as “Food – Extraneous Material.” The recall identification number is RA-81561.
