CFIA recalls Choco Lake Diamond Twist milk chocolate sold in Ontario due to aflatoxin contamination

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled Choco Lake Diamond Twist Milk Chocolate with Kunafa Pistachio Paste Flavor (450 g) distributed in Ontario due to aflatoxin contamination, according to a federal recall notice dated Feb. 27.

The recall matters for shoppers who may have bought the product in Ontario, because aflatoxins are a chemical contamination and the agency says the affected chocolate should not be used or shared.

The CFIA identified the affected item as Choco Lake Diamond Twist “Milk Chocolate with Kunafa Pistachio Paste Flavor” in a 450 g package.

The UPC listed in the notice is 6 253361 248039.

The CFIA also provided the following code information for the recalled product: Code: B.N. RM010825; PROD: AUG/12/2025; EXP: AUG/11/2026.

The CFIA advises consumers not to use, sell, serve or distribute the product.

The recalling firm is listed as Chocoland Canada (ABZ Wholesale Inc.), according to the CFIA notice.

The agency lists the recall as Class 2 and the identification number as RA-81717.
