CFIA recalls Compliments and Selection corn dogs due to Listeria; distribution listed as Quebec
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says it has recalled two corn dog products sold under the Compliments and Selection brands because of possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The CFIA lists the recall date as Aug. 13, 2026, and as of Aug. 21, 2026, it lists distribution as Quebec.
The details matter for shoppers and food-service operators because the CFIA’s notice includes specific package sizes, UPC codes and best-before/lot information to help identify the affected products. The CFIA says people should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products.
The CFIA lists the following products in its notice:
- Compliments Corn Dogs (1.35 kg), UPC 0 55742 56836 3, code BB 2027 AU 03, Lot: 21526.
- Selection Chicken and Pork Corn Dog (1.5 kg), UPC 0 59749 99638 9, code BB 2027 AU 03, Lot: 21526.
The CFIA lists O Mets Chinois as the recalling firm.
The CFIA classifies the recall as Class 2 and lists the identification number as RA-82519.
