CFIA recalls Compliments Organic Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt sold in Ontario over undeclared almond

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled Compliments Organic Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt because the label does not declare almond. The agency said the affected product was distributed in Ontario and five other provinces.

The recall is being issued as a food allergen alert for a tree nut, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s notification.

The affected product is a 100 g bar of Compliments Organic Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt. The UPC is 0 55742 51254 0, and the code is 2026OC07 with LOT: 5280.

The agency’s notice lists Galerie au Chocolat Inc. as the recalling firm.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s notification says people should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

The recall is dated Feb. 24, 2026. The agency’s identification number for the notice is RA-81662, and it was last updated March 2, 2026.
