CFIA recalls Compliments Smashed 100% Chicken Burgers for undeclared egg
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall notice for Compliments Smashed 100% Chicken Burgers because the product may contain egg that is not declared on the label. The recall covers 680 g packages (8 x 85 g) with UPC 0 55742 58333 5 and codes BB 2027-JA-06 and Lot 00099193.
The CFIA recall notice was originally published Aug. 6, 2026, and lists a recall date of July 31, 2026. The agency said the product was distributed nationally.
The recalling firm is Leadbetter Foods Inc., according to the CFIA.
Consumers should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.
The CFIA classified the recall as Class 2 and assigned identification number RA-82453.
