CFIA recalls Kevin’s Natural Foods turkey gravy for undeclared mustard

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a food recall warning for Kevin’s Natural Foods Turkey Gravy because it contains mustard that is not declared on the label. The product was distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, according to the agency’s recall notice.

The CFIA warning is aimed at people who are allergic or sensitive to mustard, as exposure could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.

The recalled product is Kevin’s Natural Foods Turkey Gravy in a 1.33-litre size with UPC 8 10264 02763 3. The recall applies to products with best-before codes “BB: 2026 DE 07” and “BB: 2026 DE 12” where mustard is not declared on the label.

The recalling firm is CalChef Foods, LLC, and the CFIA said the recall was triggered by the company.

No reactions have been reported in connection with the product, according to the CFIA.

The CFIA said it is conducting a food safety investigation that may lead to recalls of other products. The agency also said it is checking that recalled products are being removed from stores.

The recall is classified as Class 1 and has identification number RA-82767. The notice was last updated Oct. 9, 2026.
