CFIA recalls Mount Brydges Abattoir Debrecziner sausages in Ontario over undeclared mustard

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has recalled Mount Brydges Abattoir brand Mild Debrecziner and Hot Debrecziner sausages sold in Ontario because some packages may contain undeclared mustard. The notice lists the recall as Class 2 dated April 17, 2026, and the CFIA page was last updated April 21.

The recall involves a food allergen labelling issue. The CFIA advises people not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products.

The CFIA listed the affected products as variable-size packages of Mount Brydges Abattoir Mild Debrecziner and Hot Debrecziner sausages.

Mild Debrecziner (variable size): UPC starts with 0203006; affected packages include all “PACKAGED ON” codes that do not declare mustard.

Hot Debrecziner (variable size): UPC starts with 0203007; affected packages include all “PACKAGED ON” codes that do not declare mustard.

The CFIA lists Mount Brydges Abattoir Ltd. as the recalling firm. The recall is identified as RA-81908 in the CFIA’s recall database.
