CFIA Recalls President's Choice Salts Due to Plastic Contamination

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has announced a recall of President's Choice brand Mediterranean Sea Salts and Himalayan Pink Rock Salts due to contamination with pieces of plastic. This recall applies to products distributed across Canada. Loblaw Companies Limited is responsible for the recall.

The affected products are:

• Mediterranean Sea Salts: 360 g, UPC 0 60383 97655 2, with all best before dates up to and including 2026 JA 17.

• Himalayan Pink Rock Salts: 390 g, UPC 0 60383 18288 5, with all best before dates up to and including 2026 JA 17.

Consumers are advised not to use, sell, or serve the recalled products. The CFIA is monitoring the recall process to ensure the products are removed from the marketplace.
