CFIA recalls two Galerie au chocolat plant-based chocolate products over improperly declared milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) says two Galerie au chocolat brand plant-based chocolate products are being recalled because of improperly declared milk. The agency’s notice lists a recall date of April 30, 2026, and says it was last updated May 5, 2026.

The recall matters for people with a milk allergy, because milk is listed by the CFIA as the allergen concern connected to the products. The agency also advises retailers not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected items.

According to the CFIA, the products were distributed in Ontario, as well as Alberta, British Columbia, Quebec and Saskatchewan.

The affected products listed in the CFIA notice are:

  • Galerie au chocolat Solid Bunnies Plant Based (50 g) — UPC 0 63783 84901 3; codes BB/MA : 2026 DE 10 and LOT : 5344
  • Galerie au chocolat Flowers with Crisped Rice Plant Based (100 g) — UPC 0 63783 84900 6; codes BB/MA : 2026 DE 11 and LOT : 5345

The CFIA lists Galerie au chocolat Inc. as the recalling firm.

The recall identification number is RA-82030, and the CFIA classifies it as a Class 3 recall.
