CFIA recalls two Goodfood meatball meals sold online in Quebec over undeclared egg and sesame
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says two Goodfood meatball meals sold online in Quebec are being recalled because they contain undeclared egg and sesame seeds. The agency lists the recall date as July 11, 2026, and says the alert was published July 20.
The issue involves allergens that are not listed on the product labels. The CFIA advises people not to use, sell, serve or distribute the affected products.
The recalled products are:
- Goodfood Middle Eastern-Style Pork Meatballs with Orzo and Roasted Vegetables (405 g), Best Before 26JL12
- Goodfood Teriyaki Beef Meatballs with Carrots, Edamame & Rice (425 g), Best Before 26JL12
The CFIA lists distribution as online sales in Quebec.
GoodFood Corp. is the recalling firm.
The CFIA classified the recall as Class 2 and assigned identification number RA-82368.
