CFIA recalls Westside Sauce Peanut Thai sold online in several provinces due to spoilage

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall notice for Westside Sauce brand Peanut Thai (237 mL) sold online in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan because of spoilage. The recall date is July 22, 2026.

The notice matters for anyone who bought the sauce online, since the product was distributed across multiple provinces and could still be in home pantries. CFIA said the issue involves non-harmful microbial contamination related to quality or spoilage.

CFIA said people should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.

The recalled product is Westside Sauce Peanut Thai in a 237 mL container with UPC 6 27987 67780 5.

The affected codes are Best Before 05/02/2028 and Lot 351.

The Prairie Stock Market & Goods is listed as the recalling firm.

CFIA classified the recall as Class 3 under identification number RA-82396. The agency’s alert was last updated July 23, 2026.
