CFIA says Loblaw recalling President’s Choice gingersnap cookies over possible metal wire
Loblaw Companies Limited is recalling President’s Choice English-Style Gingersnap Cookies (350 g) because they may contain metal wire, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). The recall is dated Oct. 6, 2026, and the product was distributed nationally.
For Northeast Ontario residents, the recall may affect anyone who bought these cookies at retail stores. The CFIA says consumers and retailers should not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product.
The CFIA identifies the recalled item as President’s Choice English-Style Gingersnap Cookies in a 350 g package with UPC 0 60383 76819 5.
The CFIA lists the affected best-before date codes as 2027 FE 08 and 2027 MR 14.
The agency lists the recall as Class 2. The CFIA says the recall alert was originally published on Oct. 8, 2026, under identification number RA-82751.
