Chantal Guillemette Appointed as Kapuskasing Chief Administrative Officer
Kapuskasing Town Council has appointed Chantal Guillemette as Chief Administrative Officer, according to a media release issued by the Town on June 26, 2025.
The appointment followed a formal recruitment process, with a hiring committee consisting of Councillors Dinnissen, Munnoch, and the Mayor, and consultation with the full Council, according to the Town's statement.
The Town stated that Guillemette has been employed with the municipality since 1999 and has served as Municipal Clerk since 2016. The release noted that she received Accredited Ontario Municipal Clerk status in 2018 and has participated in community groups and municipal professional organizations.
According to the announcement, Guillemette’s responsibilities as Chief Administrative Officer will include overseeing daily municipal operations and providing strategic direction to staff.
