Cochrane Receives $150,000 Grant for Tim Horton Events Centre Upgrades

The Town of Cochrane has received a $150,000 Capital grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). The grant, awarded in late 2022, was used to replace seven HVAC units at the Tim Horton Events Centre. This upgrade aims to extend the life of the recreation centre for residents and visitors. Local MPP John Vanthof and Mayor Peter Politis discussed the impact of the grant on the community. The Ontario Trillium Foundation is an agency of the Ontario government that invested over $110 million into 1,044 community projects last year.
