Cochrane recycling pickup rescheduled to March 23 after March 16 was missed

Cochrane’s recycling pickup that was scheduled for Monday, March 16, 2026, was rescheduled to Monday, March 23, the Town of Cochrane said.

The town said the change affected recycling collection only, while residential garbage collection continued on March 16 as usual.

In an update titled “Notice – Recycling – Winter Storm,” the town said GFL Environmental informed municipal staff that recyclable materials would not be collected on March 16. The town said those recyclables will be picked up the following Monday, March 23.

The town said it will post any further waste-collection updates on its website and Facebook page.
