Cochrane says construction may delay garbage collection on some streets

Garbage collection in Cochrane may be delayed on streets where construction is underway, the Town of Cochrane said in a June 3 notice.

The town said limited access for collection vehicles during ongoing work may mean garbage is picked up later than usual, and that pickup times may vary “for the foreseeable future.”

The notice did not name specific streets. The town said residents can continue placing garbage at the curb on their regular collection day, and that crews will collect it as access permits.
