Cochrane Seeks Members for Accessibility Advisory Committee

The Town of Cochrane is seeking four members of the public to join the Cochrane Accessibility Advisory Committee. The committee assists in promoting and facilitating accessible services and facilities by reviewing municipal policies, programs, and services. It also identifies, removes, and prevents barriers faced by people with disabilities.

The town encourages applications from individuals with various disabilities and lived experiences, including those who are hard of hearing, have mental health and addiction issues, physical and mobility disabilities, developmental disabilities, visual impairments, brain injuries, or are seniors with disabilities. Parents or guardians of children with disabilities, caregivers, and representatives from service agencies are also encouraged to apply.

Applications must be submitted by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024. The application form is available on the town's website or at the Town Hall during normal office hours.
