Cochrane to Begin Sidewalk and Curb Replacement in Multiple Areas from September 8–19

A sidewalk and curb replacement project is scheduled in several locations across Cochrane from September 8 to September 19, 2025, according to the Town of Cochrane. The municipality reports that construction dates may change depending on progress.

The town has stated that residents in the construction zones will continue to have access to their properties throughout the work. However, for homes where new sidewalks or curbs are installed in front of driveways, residents will not be able to use those driveways for three to four days while the concrete sets. The town allows street parking during these periods.

According to the Town of Cochrane, emergency vehicles will have access at all times while work is ongoing. The town also notes that restoration work for any properties affected by the project will be completed at the discretion of the Manager of Infrastructure Services. The municipality has said that further project details, including a map, will be provided in a separate notice.
