Cochrane to hold April 13, 2026 public session on Official Plan review
Cochrane council and the Cochrane and Suburban Planning Board will hold a public information session on Monday, April 13, 2026, as part of a review and update of the area’s Official Plan. The session is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. at the Commando Pavilion, 226 Fifth Street, in Cochrane.
The Official Plan sets out policies that guide land use planning in the community. The town’s notice says the review is at the start of the process and in the “information gathering” stage.
The session is intended to collect residents’ views on future land uses in the community, according to the March 24, 2026 notice.
Information gathered at the session will be used to inform a background and directions report.
The notice says the report will be presented and discussed with the planning board and council.
