Cochrane to Hold Public Meeting on Growth Community Improvement Plan

A public meeting will be held by the Town of Cochrane to discuss the proposed Growth Community Improvement Plan (CIP). This meeting is scheduled for December 10, 2024, at 5:00 PM and will take place at the Council Chambers in Town Hall, located at 171 Fourth Avenue, Cochrane. The meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing for both in-person and virtual attendance via Teams.

The proposed CIP aims to encourage housing growth within the Settlement Area of Cochrane. It includes financial incentive programs designed to support the development, redevelopment, and renovation of various housing options, including affordable housing and additional residential units.

Residents and interested parties are invited to attend the meeting and provide their input, either in support or opposition to the plan. Written submissions can also be made and will be included in the public record. These submissions can be sent to the Planning Department at Town Hall or via email.
