Cochrane to post recording after Jan. 27 council meeting livestream fails
Cochrane’s live broadcast of its regular council meeting on Jan. 27 was not available as scheduled because of technical difficulties, and the town plans to post a recording of the meeting’s open session on its municipal website within the next few days.
The town’s notice matters for residents who tried to follow the meeting online in real time and want to review what was discussed in open session once the video is available.
In a notice dated Jan. 28, the Town of Cochrane’s Office of the Clerk said the problem involved the municipality’s livestreaming program.
The notice did not provide further details about what caused the technical issue.
According to the clerk’s office, the open-session portion of the meeting was recorded and will be uploaded for public viewing.
