Concession 8 & 9 east of Genier Road in Cochrane to close Sept. 17 for culvert replacement

Concession 8 & 9 east of Genier Road in Cochrane will be closed Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a culvert replacement.

The closure will affect access for residents and anyone trying to travel through the area during the daytime work window.

Through access will not be permitted, and residents east of the work area will not have access to their properties during the closure.

The 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. timeframe is an estimate and could change.

The town said emergency vehicle access will be maintained.
