CRA Seeks Public Feedback to Improve Services

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is seeking feedback from taxpayers to improve its services. The consultations will be open from September 25 to December 2, 2024. Individuals, non-professional representatives, and tax intermediaries can share their experiences through an online questionnaire. The CRA will also conduct in-person and virtual consultation sessions by invitation.

Recent improvements by the CRA include the introduction of a digital application for the Disability Tax Credit, enhancements to sign-in services, the implementation of an online learning tool about taxes, increased Contact Centre hours, and the expansion of the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP). Despite these advancements, the CRA acknowledges that there are still challenges to address.
