Emergency Hydro One repairs expected to cause 3–5 hour outage on parts of Smooth Rock Falls
Emergency Hydro One repair work is expected to cause a power outage lasting about three to five hours on Hollywood Avenue and on Fifth Street north of Hollywood Avenue in Smooth Rock Falls, according to a notice posted by the town on Jan. 28.
The notice says the start time is not yet known because repair crews were still being dispatched, meaning residents in the affected area may have limited notice before the outage begins.
The town’s notice lists the outage area as Hollywood Avenue and Fifth Street north of Hollywood Avenue only.
The notice asks residents to monitor the Hydro One app for the most up-to-date outage information and any updates as they become available.
