Fourth St is closed between Fifth Avenue and Fifth Street (Waltco) in Smooth Rock Falls while Enbridge works in the area, with reopening expected at 1 p.m. today.

The town advised motorists to use alternate routes and drive safely during the closure.

The closure is in place to allow Enbridge to complete work on that block. The notice did not provide details about the nature of the work.

No detour is listed in the notice. The advisory was posted on the municipality’s website on Nov. 13.
