Fromagerie des Grondines Cheese Recall Due to E. coli and Staphylococcus Aureus

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall for specific cheeses produced by Fromagerie des Grondines due to potential contamination with generic E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus. The recall includes several cheese varieties such as "Tomme de la chevrotière," "D'eschambault," "Tomme des galets," "Raclé," "Clos des roches," "Foin-de-grèves," and "Grondines." These products were distributed in regions across Canada, including Ontario.

Aux Terroirs, the firm responsible for recalling the products, advises consumers to refrain from using, selling, serving, or distributing the affected cheeses. The recall is classified as Class 3, indicating a lower risk level, but caution is still advised.

Consumers who have purchased these cheeses are encouraged to dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase. The CFIA is monitoring the recall to ensure that the affected products are effectively removed from the market.
