Hydrant Flushing Set for July 30 and 31 in Smooth Rock Falls

The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will continue annual hydrant flushing in Smooth Rock Falls on July 30 and 31. Work is scheduled for Main Street and Werzun Street, as well as Ross Road from Main Street north, including Cloutierville.

The Town of Smooth Rock Falls has advised residents they may experience temporary low water pressure or slight discoloration of tap water while the work is ongoing. According to the Town, running a cold water tap until the water runs clear may help address discoloration during the flushing period.
