Jubilee Avenue in Timmins closed Jan. 22–23, 2026 for emergency watermain break

Jubilee Avenue in Timmins was closed between University Street and Melrose Boulevard from Jan. 22, 2026, to 5 p.m. Jan. 23, 2026, because of an emergency watermain break, the City of Timmins Environmental Services Department said.

The closure affects a section of road in the Timmins North area while emergency water repairs are underway, and the city issued a detour for drivers approaching from Airport Road.

The Environmental Services Department said traffic coming from Airport Road can access the Theriault Boulevard turnoff heading south.

The city said the closure could extend beyond 5 p.m. on Jan. 23, 2026.
