June 10 hearing set for proposed 37.27-hectare lot addition between two Concession 4&5 properties in Cochrane
The Cochrane and Suburban Planning Board is scheduled to hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Cochrane Town Hall, 171 Fourth Ave., about a proposed land severance involving two properties on Concession 4&5. The application (B02-2026) proposes transferring 37.27 hectares (92.1 acres) from 1267 Concession 4&5 to 1249 Concession 4&5 as a lot addition, with no new lots created.
For nearby residents, the proposal would change the size of the two existing parcels, shifting land from one Concession 4&5 property to the other while keeping the total number of lots the same.
The town’s Committee of Adjustment is scheduled to consider the same application at the June 10 meeting.
The application identifies the owners of 1267 Concession 4&5 as M. Massicotte and C. Dubeault, and the owner of 1249 Concession 4&5 as L. Dubeault.
Under the proposal, the lot at 1249 Concession 4&5 would increase from about 1 hectare to about 38.08 hectares (94.1 acres). The lot at 1267 Concession 4&5 would be about 2 hectares after the transfer.
The notice for the hearing states the properties are within the Town of Cochrane’s planning area covered by the Cochrane and Suburban Planning Board.
