The Moosonee Town Council held its regular meeting in October 2024, where several key decisions were made.

Zoning By-law Amendment: The council approved a zoning by-law amendment for a property located at South Part Lot 24, Concession 3, Glackmeyer Township. This amendment is part of ongoing efforts to align local zoning regulations with community development plans.
Community Improvement Plan: Discussions were held regarding the Growth Community Improvement Plan, which aims to support housing development within the town. The plan includes financial incentives for the development and renovation of various housing options, including affordable housing.
