Mountjoy Street South in Timmins to close July 13, 2026 between Southern and Moneta for pavement marking
Mountjoy Street South in Timmins will be closed between Southern Avenue and Moneta Avenue on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the City of Timmins, to allow crews to paint crosswalks and stop bars.
The closure affects travel through that section of Mountjoy Street South during the late morning and early afternoon, and the city is asking drivers to plan for the temporary restriction.
In a notice posted July 13, the city’s Public Works department said the work is part of pavement marking.
The city asked motorists to obey all posted signage, use caution when travelling through work zones, and use alternate routes where possible.
The city did not list a detour route.
