New Ontario Initiatives Support Young Entrepreneurs
The province of Ontario has introduced funding initiatives to support young entrepreneurs in the Northeast region. This includes financial backing for Futurpreneur Canada which provides collateral-free loans of up to $75,000 along with mentoring support for new business owners.
The initiatives involve a total of $6.8 million allocated to assist small businesses through programs such as Starter Company Plus, Summer Company, and contributions to the Fédération des gens d'affaires francophones de l'Ontario.
Effie Triantafilopoulos, a figure in the Ontario government, noted the potential economic impact of the investment, indicating its support for young entrepreneurs.
