Northern College and Interfor Extend Partnership Agreement

Northern College and Interfor have extended their partnership through a renewed memorandum of understanding. This agreement, originally formed in 2019, will continue for another three years. The partnership aims to provide experiential learning opportunities for students and newly hired graduates in the forestry sector. The collaboration focuses on addressing the skilled trades shortage in Northern Ontario by offering placements and on-the-job training for roles such as millwrights, heavy equipment mechanics, and instrumentation professionals.
